Did you know each parking meter has an id number? I had never had the chance to put my cents in these, before the Fhonky Monkey bike race this week end. We started from the Place Ville Marie, and first headed to 5 easy addresses downtown. Then we had to find parking meters… WTF, where are these fucking numbers? No logical progression… Lost but finally we found all of them: a hell of a challenge! The after-race began with some beers and a burger at Yohann’s: thanks to you who organized all of that! And see ya for the next ride!
Bootleg Sessions V.2 is on track!
And you can pre-order your copies. Miam!
Global Gutz is the World Wide Alleycat Race. In each big town in the world, messengers bike to win, on a given distance and through the same numbers of checkpoints. Their time is compared globally, and the woman and man of each hemisphere who did the best times are the winners!
Unfortunately, the race didn’t take place in Montréal that year. I don’t exactly know why, but we were less than 10… Never mind: it’ll be next year!
