Check out this video, it’s pretty cool, mixed video and animation.
BICYCLE MESSENGERS is a short film in which all of the messengers are animated and all of the backgrounds and environments are live-action footage shot in Midtown Manhattan. By juxtaposing the animated characters on top of the live action, the film highlights the peculiar relationship between bicycle messengers and the modern city in which they operate.

I guess bad times always happen during projects… Now I’m down. Today was a bad day for Hubalabike, beginning with big problems regarding the f***ing programming, which won’t work the way I want! The script I’m using is quite complex, and I have the feeling I could be after that for weeks without undestanding anything! I must say I’m quite desperate, as no php developer has answered my request for help yet. Or some have, but asking me a lot of money! Which I don’t have. Should I stop? Should I go on? Should I pay? Or find associates? I hate these questions…

Woo, Rapha nous sort un chouette livre sur les mythiques routes des Pyrénées, ça donne envie d’aller rouler :p

Marie has just begun working on the texts of Hubalabike. I’m happy to have some help for this, and it’s a new step further for the project! I can see her checking in our dictionnary… Now Hubalabike is growing: I’m working on the design and the programming, Marie on the text… I’m just still missing a developer! If you know php and have some time, please e-mail michael[at]hubalabike.com.
Check Council of doom blog : http://councilofdoombc.blogspot.com/
click on FULL, it’s too small.
And have a look at http://www.rapha.cc, very nice clothes.

Graphic designers and developers don’t really speak the same language… After the graphic mocks-up of the pages, I’m working on a prototype of the website (done before, but on paper). I have chosen the software Axure to do so, and I must say I’m happy to tell it was a good choice! Now I can explain the whole functioning of Hubalabike with interactive mocks-up, with the proper actions on buttons, links, and the possibility to surf on a schematic version of Hubalabike!
