We had some legally cops trouble yesterday with our perfect bike polo spot. So we need to find a new place… anyway, don’t be upset guys the new place will be better!

Watch this video of espi3 in Washington and GAMEON!

Oh my god, this video just scary me :/ When I see Kevin going down this amazing ramp, it’s remember me my all bmx fracture …brrr! It’s a big big jump 27 feet height! WooOO!

But let’s remember, the chief Matt Hoffman. He doing a same jump, hang up on a motorcycle, on grass, with old school protections, 20 years ago… so
Matt you are still the Bmx God :D

Check out this video, it’s pretty cool, mixed video and animation.

BICYCLE MESSENGERS is a short film in which all of the messengers are animated and all of the backgrounds and environments are live-action footage shot in Midtown Manhattan. By juxtaposing the animated characters on top of the live action, the film highlights the peculiar relationship between bicycle messengers and the modern city in which they operate.

Velib’ Freeride ^_^

When you live in a flat, you may have no possibility to clean your bike out.. Or you could, but the neighbours may not like it!

You’re gonna have to deal with your girlfriend… and wash your bike in the shower :D
Or you do like me: wash it, then tell her!

Ya, it’s winter time, but take it easy: we will have fun too :p

Like biking on ice

with a snowbike

with MB

with speed

Oh yes, winter with snow is coool :D

As you know, I have changed my bar, and the new one was too big to put my brake lever on it. So I decided to simply remove it. It was meant to be temporary, but…

Everybody has seen videos with very cool guys riding very fast, very fluid, without brakes. I was about to try, and it was as much exciting as it was making me nervous!

I reminded something I had read: “When you ride with a brake, even if you don’t use it, you KNOW you could stop. When you leave your brakes off, you have to learn to ride differently.” I kept asking me what this was meaning. Riding without any brake, I suddenly undestood: even if I had top stop, I had to do it without brakes! That’s why you learn a different way of riding: more dedicated to the bike, to the cars, to what happens in front of you.

The first time was very impressive! The way was straight and flat, I was doing well, and I had a look at my new bar. I practiced starts and stops a few times, then tried to understand my environment: don’t cross pedestrian, I’m coming, don’t cross, don’t stop so quickly, car, don’t! Oh my God, how to stop in one second when you have no brakes? Well, I did it! My baptism of no-brakes…

I’ve been riding brakeless for few weeks… and I’m not dead! Moreover, I have better sensations, and finally I LOVE riding without these things on my bar, nothing to disturb me, never need to change gears, to brake. I adapt my speed with my environment, I focus a lot more, and I ride more fluid. It’s like a “natural” way of riding.

Above all this philosophy, I just love that!

New Handlebar

No comment - Post a comment

My cute French handlebar has disappeared yesterday. It was a little bit torn to the right, and it was driving me crazy! I went to legrandcycle to buy a “cross” bar. Had it cut it a 40cm/16p. Visitors were staring at me: “are you gonna ride with that?” “yes madam! ” “you gonna die” Ok… thanks madam.” :s

Well, I came home and installed it, my new machine of death.. and gosh, the brakes could not be settled on it! The tube was too big.. oups… So I decided to try without brakes, and by new ones later.

I will try it tomorrow!
